When you install Mailtrack, you will be asked to grant Mailsuite access to your Gmail account to enable its features. (Mailtrack is part of Mailsuite, which is why Google shows the Mailsuite name.) It’s important to note the following things when you grant Mailsuite access to your Gmail:
- Mailsuite will never access the content of your emails.
- Your email data is never stored on Mailsuite servers.
- Mailsuite’s features are all automatic, which means there is no human intervention.
- Mailsuite never shares, rents, or sells your emails, browsing information, or personal data.
- All of your data is safe and secure with Mailsuite because we use 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256).
- Google audits Mailsuite’s security infrastructure on a yearly basis.
To learn more, check out Mailsuite’s Privacy and Security Center.
If you choose to no longer use Mailtrack and wish to revoke or block access to your Gmail account, doing so is very simple. All you need to do is follow these instructions to stop Mailsuite from accessing your data:
- Go to the URL: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Find the section Third-party apps and services
- Click on Mailsuite and scroll to the bottom of the page
- Click Delete all connections you have with Mailsuite
After you complete these steps, Mailsuite will no longer have access to your Gmail account.
Doing this does not delete your account or uninstall the Mailtrack extension from your browser though. For information on how to do these, refer to the articles below:
