The security of your data—and that of your clients—is critical. Email communications often contain sensitive information, from business proposals to confidential client details. Ensuring that this data remains secure is essential for maintaining trust and safeguarding your business.
Is Mailsuite Safe?
Your data is secure at Mailsuite. Mailtrack is part of Mailsuite, so everything below applies to Mailtrack and to all Mailsuite tools. We prioritize the security and privacy of your information by implementing several layers of protection.
Advanced Encryption
Mailsuite’s services operate on a secure infrastructure, where all data is encrypted using the 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256). This encryption method is one of the strongest available and is widely used to protect sensitive data, ensuring that your information remains secure and confidential.
Regular Security Assessments
Mailsuite undergoes annual security assessments as required by Google for its partners. These assessments are part of the OAuth API Verification Scopes procedure, which ensures that Mailsuite complies with strict security standards. This process is designed to protect user data by verifying that our systems meet Google's rigorous security requirements. You can learn more about this procedure here, and access the latest security audit certificate here.
Data Storage and Location
Mailsuite does not maintain its own physical data centers. Instead, all production data is stored and processed in a virtual private cloud (VPC) hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Our data is securely stored in AWS data centers located in Ireland, which adheres to strict European data protection regulations.
GDPR Compliance
Mailsuite is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the European Union's rigorous regulations for safeguarding privacy. This compliance ensures that your personal data is collected, processed, and stored with your explicit consent, giving you full control over your information. Under GDPR, you have the right to request a copy of your data or ask for all your data to be deleted. For any requests or concerns, you can contact us at privacy@mailtrack.io. More details can be found in our Privacy Policy here.
Control Over Your Data
Mailsuite provides you with full control over your data. If you wish to stop Mailsuite from accessing your account, you can remove all Mailsuite access permissions to your Gmail account, delete your account along with all personal data, or remove the Mailtrack extension from your browser. You can learn more about these processes here.
Privacy of Your Emails
One of the key assurances we provide is that no one from Mailsuite can access the content of your emails. The body of your emails is not stored on our servers, so your email content remains private and inaccessible to anyone at Mailsuite.
Why Mailsuite Requires Certain Permissions
Mailsuite needs certain permissions for technical reasons necessary for our features to work. These are automatic processes with no human intervention. For instance, the Mailtrack Campaigns functionality needs access to your email to generate multiple copies for every recipient and then delete all but the one in the sent folder. However, rest assured that no one at Mailsuite can access your emails.
Mailsuite’s Commitment to Data Privacy
Mailsuite does not sell, rent, or share your emails, browsing information, or personal data. Our revenue model is based on providing premium paid features to enhance the effectiveness of your email communications, not on selling user data.
