When you share a PDF using Mailsuite and the tracking report shows an anonymous viewer instead of identifying who opened the document, it is usually because the PDF was not shared directly through Gmail.
Mailsuite can only identify who viewed a document when the PDF is attached and sent through Gmail using Mailsuite's tracked PDF feature. In that case, Mailsuite links the document to the specific recipient of that email, so opens are attributed to them.
How to get identified viewer data
- Compose your email in Gmail as usual.
- Attach the PDF using Mailsuite's "Add tracked PDF" options.
- Send the email. Mailsuite will then be able to attribute any views to the specific recipient.
