When you send a Mailsuite Campaign, you can choose to add an unsubscribe link to your emails. This is recommended because it keeps your list clean and decreases the chances of someone reporting your emails as spam. Mailsuite will not send future emails to people who have unsubscribed to your campaigns.
Another way Mailsuite helps you keep your contact list clean is by showing you when emails bounce. You can then manually remove bounced email addresses from your list to avoid future bounced emails. Not sending emails to unsubscribed or bounced email addresses is a best practice for high email deliverability.
What is an unsubscribe?
An unsubscribe is when someone opts out of receiving your emails. If someone unsubscribes from your list, you should not send them any future emails. This is what the the recipient sees when they click the unsubscribe link in your Mailsuite Campaign:
Continuing to send emails to someone who unsubscribed from your list is a bad marketing practice, and depending on the jurisdiction, could break spam or marketing regulations.

What is a bounce?
A bounce is a common email sending error that occurs when an email can't be delivered to a recipient's mailbox. There are two types of bounces:
- Soft bounces: These are usually temporary. They occur when the recipient's mailbox is full, a server is down, the email is too large, or something similar.
- Hard bounces: These are more permanent. They are generated by sending to an email address or domain that doesn't exist.
