Once you install Mailsuite, you gain more control over PDF attachments that you send to your contacts. In addition to sending tracked documents, you can:
- Enable or disable download access
- Set a document expiration date
- Send a document for signature
- Add a confidential watermark
How to set up secure PDF sharing
- Compose your email as usual.
- To attach a document, click the paperclip icon, then Add Document.
- A pop-up will appear. In the Document section, click Browse to choose the PDF you want to attach to your email.
- Once you find your document, select it in the window and click Open.
- In the Confidentiality Protection section, choose the controls you’d like to place on your document:
- Access expiration date: After this date and time, the recipient will no longer be able to access your attached document.
- Display download button: This allows the recipient to download a copy of your document.

Add Confidential watermark: This adds a watermark to your document that says “Confidential”.
- After you’ve configured your document settings, click Insert link to Document.
- Click Send to send your email and share your PDF attachment securely.
