Mailtrack tracks the links in your emails whether you add them with Gmail's link tool or paste the URL as text.
If clicks on your links aren't being tracked, check that Track emails by default and Track clicks on links by default are turned on in Settings & account > Tracking.
Tracked links go briefly through our servers to record the click and then take the reader to the site you linked to.
Add a tracked link from the composer
If a link still isn't being tracked, add it with Mailsuite's tracked link option:
1) In the Gmail compose window, click the link button and choose Insert link and track clicks.
2) Enter the Link text and the Link destination.
3) Make sure Track this link is turned on and click Apply.
