When you install Mailsuite, you can send unlimited tracked emails. You also have the ability to track more than email opens; You can track link clicks, PDF attachment views, and more. And along with these tracking capabilities, you can enable real-time email alerts that tell you exactly when your recipients interact with your email.
You can choose which notifications and alerts you would like to receive by completing the following steps:
- Go to your Mailsuite Dashboard, then click Settings and Privacy > Notifications
- In the Notification and Email columns, check the box to enable each specific notification type or uncheck the box to disable them.
Note: For technical reasons, if you disable email alerts you may still receive alerts for tracked emails that you sent prior to disabling the feature.
For any email that you receive, Gmail categorizes it and places it into different tabs within your inbox. These tabs are Primary, Promotions, Social, and Updates.
By default, Gmail shows your Primary tab when you first log in to your account. However, it’s important to note that after you enable Mailsuite notifications, they may not end up in your Primary folder.
To make sure you see them, follow the steps below to ensure Mailsuite alerts land in your Primary tab:
- Locate a Mailsuite notification email in your Promotions (or any other) tab.
- Right-click the email and select Move to tab > Primary
- Then a pop-up will appear confirming that the email alert was moved to your Primary tab. To move all future email alerts from Mailsuite to your Primary tab, click Yes.
After you complete these steps, your future email alerts from Mailsuite should always appear in the Primary tab of your Gmail inbox. This will ensure you’re always up-to-date on how recipients are interacting with your emails.
