If you see this message in Gmail:
"Permissions required — Mailsuite is installed but needs permissions to run properly on Gmail."
it means the connection between Mailsuite and your Google account has stopped working. This also applies if the activation pop-up keeps appearing when you install Mailtrack.
Here's how to fix it. You won't lose any tracking data.
1. Remove Mailsuite's access in your Google account
- Go to myaccount.google.com/connections.
- Find Mailsuite in the list and click it.
- Scroll down and click Delete all connections you have with Mailsuite.
You may also see a second entry for the Mailtrack add-on for the Gmail mobile app. You can leave that one as it is.
2. Reconnect Mailsuite
Reload Gmail. When the Mailsuite message appears, click it and accept the permissions Google asks for.
Still seeing the message?
Reinstall the extension: uninstall Mailtrack, then install it again. Your tracking history is kept.
Still not working?
Another extension or security program may be blocking Mailsuite (for example ad blockers or Malwarebytes). See Mailtrack is not enabled – Connection / Network failed, or contact support.
