It's really easy to get Mailtrack for Gmail up and running. Just follow these steps:
- Open Google Chrome and find Email Tracker by Mailtrack® in the Chrome Web Store.
- Click Add to Chrome, then click Add Extension on the pop-up prompt.
- On the Connect Gmail screen, click Continue to Google.
- Follow the prompt to connect your Gmail account.
After doing this, your Gmail will refresh automatically. Mailtrack is part of Mailsuite, so from now on you'll see the Mailsuite name and logo in Gmail and in your dashboard. If for some reason you cannot see Mailsuite in your email account, please close your browser completely and reopen it.
How to Install Mailtrack for Mobile
Mailtrack is the only email tracking system that integrates with Gmail’s official app. Not only that, but the Mailtrack®: Email Tracker for the Gmail™ App add-on is available as a free download in the Google Workspace Marketplace and includes unlimited email tracking for all users. This is how to install it on your iPhone or Android.
How to Install Mailsuite for Outlook
While Mailsuite is primarily designed for Gmail, Outlook users can also take advantage of its powerful tracking and notifications features with a simple add-in. To install Mailsuite for Outlook, please follow these steps.
Mailtrack’s Compatibility with Browsers and Extensions
Web Browsers
Mailtrack works in Google Chrome and in other Chromium-based browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, Opera, Brave and Vivaldi. In those browsers, install it from the same Chrome Web Store page and accept the browser's prompt to add the extension.
If you are using one of these browsers and Mailtrack is not working, try installing the most recent browser updates and clearing your cache.
Other Extensions
Mailtrack is not compatible with other email tracking extensions or extensions designed to block email tracking. Some examples include Mixmax, Kaspersky, Rebrandly, Virtru, Boomerang, CloudHQ, Ghostery, Dragapp, GMass, Vidyard, and uBlock Origin. This list isn't complete: other extensions can also interfere.
If Mailtrack is not working and you suspect it may be due to the use of another extension, read this article.
