The Mailtrack mobile app lets you send and track emails directly from your phone. Every email you send is tracked automatically, so there is nothing to switch on for each message.
Note: The Mailtrack mobile app and the Mailtrack add-on are two different tools. The app is a standalone application you install from the App Store or Google Play. The add-on is an extension that works inside the Gmail app on your phone. We recommend the app: it is more complete and more reliable, so if you can, install the app rather than the add-on. See the comparison at the end of this article, or read How to install the Mailtrack add-on.
Install the app
- Download the app for your device (smartphone/tablet):
- Open the app and sign in.
- Connect the Gmail account that is linked to your Mailsuite account.
How tracking works in the app
- All sent emails are tracked automatically. Just write and send as usual.
- Check the check marks next to your email in the inbox to see if it has been opened.
- Tap the check marks to view detailed tracking data, such as when and how many times it was opened.
What you get
Depending on your plan, the Mailtrack app can include:
- Real-time alerts when your email is opened, a link is clicked, or a file is viewed, plus follow-up reminders, Open Spike Alerts, and Revival Alerts.
- Individual tracking in group emails — see who opened your message when you send it to several recipients.
- Link tracking — know when recipients click links in your email.
- Full open history.

Mailtrack app vs. Mailtrack add-on: which one am I using?
- Mailtrack app — a standalone app from the App Store or Google Play. You send and track emails inside the app, and every email is tracked automatically.
- Mailtrack add-on — an extension that works inside the native Gmail app on your phone. You enable tracking for each email you send. Learn how to install the add-on.
Both the app and the add-on are available to all users. If you can, choose the app: it is more complete and more reliable.
