As a data controller under the GDPR for the data of the recipients of emails sent through our services, you must comply with data deletion requests from those recipients without undue delay. Mailsuite gives you several ways to delete recipients' data.
Delete a recipient's data from MyCRM
- Open your dashboard: sign in to your Mailsuite dashboard.
- Go to MyCRM: in the menu, go to Data hub > MyCRM. It lists all your email recipients and their associated data.
- Select the recipient: browse or search for the recipient whose data you want to delete, and select them.
- Open the Profile area: it shows detailed information about the recipient, including their consent status or legal basis and their data privacy settings.
- Select Privacy Management in the Profile area.
- Check "Delete all recipient data stored at Mailsuite" and click Continue. Confirm the deletion when prompted. The recipient's data will be deleted, and you may see a message confirming that the process is complete.
Delete a recipient's data from Settings & account
You can also click the gear icon at the top right of your dashboard to open Settings & account, go to Privacy and click Manage your recipients' data and consent status. You can also go straight to your privacy settings.
In the Data Privacy Management pop-up, enter the email address of the recipient and choose whether to delete all their data or unsubscribe them from your emails.
Delete the data of a single email
You can also delete the data of individual emails manually. In your dashboard, go to Email tracking, click the ⋯ button next to the email and select Delete email data.
