As long as you install Mailtrack correctly, it should work as expected on your computer or desktop, whether you have Conversation View enabled or disabled. However, we recommend that you enable this setting in Gmail in order to get the best out of Mailtrack in terms of performance and reliability.
What is Conversation View in Gmail?
Conversation View is a feature in Gmail that allows you to group emails with the same subject line together. For instance, when someone replies to your email, Gmail groups their response together with your original email. This allows you to read your email and their response in the same email thread.
Conversation View with Mailtrack for Mobile
If you plan on using the Mailtrack mobile add-on (which is different from the desktop extension), then you will need to enable Conversation View. Otherwise, you may encounter issues when trying to send a tracked reply or new tracked message from your mobile device.
If you have Conversation View enabled and don’t see Mailtrack’s check marks on your mobile device, you can enable them in your dashboard.
