After you install Mailsuite and begin to send tracked emails, we recommend enabling notifications so you can know exactly when someone interacts with your message. Mailsuite has notifications for all of the following:
- Email opens (what this article covers)
- Link clicks
- Attached document views
- Follow-up reminders
- Conversation revivals
- Reports: Daily reports, productivity reports, and campaign reports
How to enable email open notifications
There are two ways to enable email open notifications: from your Mailsuite Dashboard or directly in your Gmail inbox.
In your Mailsuite Dashboard
- Go to your Mailsuite Dashboard
- Navigate to Settings and Privacy > Notifications
- Check the box in the Email column next to when emails are opened. You also have the option to check the box in the Notification column, which will send you a push notification.
- Once you’ve enabled the notifications you wish to receive, click Save settings.
In Gmail
- After you compose your email, click the Mailsuite settings icon next to the Send button
- Then click Notifications and check the box in the Email column next to when email’s opened. You can also enable other notifications from this menu.
- Click Send to send your tracked email.
Please note that if you disable email open notifications, you may still receive email notifications for tracked emails that you sent prior to disabling the feature.
