Mailsuite enables you to track when your emails are opened. While Mailsuite is primarily designed for Gmail, Outlook users can also take advantage of its tracking features with a quick and simple add-in. Tracking Emails With the Mailsuite Outlook Add-in

Tracking Your Emails

When composing a new email:

1. Click on the three horizontal dots in the email composer and select the Mailsuite add-in. Or, depending on your Outlook version, click the Add-ins button (pictured below).

2. Enable the "Track Email" option when the add-in loads by customizing the notification preferences.

Mailsuite for Outlook FAQs

1. What are the differences between Mailsuite Add-in, Extension, and Add-on?

Mailsuite offers different tools depending on your needs:

• Mailsuite Browser Extension: This version is installed on a Chrome browser and is used to track emails sent from your computer using Gmail. It includes all the features available in your Mailsuite plan and works seamlessly within the Gmail web interface. Tracking is enabled by default.
• Mailsuite Mobile Add-on: Designed for the Gmail app on your phone, the mobile add-on allows you to track email opens and view tracking history. However, it has limited features compared to the browser extension and requires the extension to be installed on your computer.
• Mailsuite Outlook Add-in: This add-in is specifically designed for Outlook users, enabling email tracking within the Outlook application.

2. How accurate and reliable is Mailsuite’s email tracking?

Mailsuite's email tracking is designed to be highly accurate and reliable, providing real-time notifications when your emails are opened. However, there are two main factors that may affect the accuracy and reliability of the tracking:

• Emails Sent to Yourself or Opened on the Same Computer:
If you send emails to yourself or open them on the same computer, the tracking may not function correctly. Mailsuite is not designed to track emails under these conditions, so it's recommended to avoid testing the service this way to ensure the most accurate results.

• Blocked Images in Email Clients:
In some cases, emails or tracked documents might be opened, but the tracking does not register this action. This can occur when certain email clients block images by default, as Mailsuite uses a small tracking pixel embedded in the email or document. This limitation is common across all email marketing tools, as the tracking relies on the pixel being loaded.

3. Why is Mailsuite better than other email trackers for Outlook?

Mailsuite offers a seamless integration with Outlook through its add-in, allowing users to directly send tracked emails and access tracking data right inside Outlook.

4. Does Mailsuite for Outlook require any special setup or additional tools?

No special setup is required beyond installing the Mailsuite Outlook Add-in. Once installed and connected with your Outlook account, it works directly with Outlook, allowing you to track emails within Outlook without needing additional tools or software.

Privacy, Safety, and Audit

Mailsuite takes your privacy seriously. It processes personal data in compliance with GDPR, the strictest privacy and security law worldwide. Additionally, Mailsuite passes an annual audit by Google to ensure optimal security.
